Amazon Prime members can now score free food deliveries from Grubhub as part of a new deal between Amazon and Grubhub made public on July 6.

According to a press release issued by the food delivery giant on Wednesday, Amazon Prime subscribers can sign up for a free one-year Grubhub+ membership, which includes unlimited $0 delivery fees from hundreds of thousands of restaurants on the Grubhub app.

The deal is exclusively for Prime members and is part of a new commercial agreement between Just Eat Takeaway.com, Grubhub’s parent company, and e-commerce giant Amazon.

CEO of Grubhub Adam DeWitt said in a press release:

“I am incredibly excited to announce this collaboration with Amazon that will help Grubhub continue to deliver on our long-standing mission to connect more diners with local restaurants. Amazon has redefined convenience with Prime, and we’re confident this offering will expose many new diners to the value of Grubhub+ while driving more business to our restaurant partners and drivers.”

Amazon is also eligible to purchase a 2 percent stake of Grubhub stock under the terms of the agreement. The e-retailer can acquire a 13% stake in Grubhub at a “formula-based price,” depending on how many new customers Amazon can deliver via the deal.

The news comes as Amazon seeks to recover from a disappointing fiscal first quarter. The company reported its first quarterly loss in more than seven years on April 28, sending shares of its stock tumbling over 10% in post-market trading that day.
