If you own a Honda, a trip to the dealer might be in your near future.

According to NBC, Honda and Acura models from 2018 to 2020, including the popular CR-V SUV, make up the bulk of the recalls with the company, although no crashes or injuries have been reported.

Fuel pump impellers in these models have a risk of cracking and eventually leading the fuel pump to no longer work causing stalling and increased crash risk, reports Car and Driver.

Months ago, Honda issued a similar recall for over 100,000 vehicles for fuel pump issues which shares some overlap with this latest recall. In 2019, over 500,000 vehicles were recalled for fuel pump issues that seem to be unrelated.

By May 18, owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail to report to a dealer who will replace the pumps free of charge.

Owners can use their vehicle identification number (VIN) to check the Honda or NHTSA recalls site in advance to see if their model is impacted.
