Are you looking for a new job? You might want to download TikTok.

The social media company is testing a job application tool that allows its users to submit video resumes to companies eager to hire new workers.

Over 30 companies signed up to accept resumes, including TargetShopify, and Great Clips. The available employment positions include full and part-time hours, as well as entry and mid-level positions.

Some of the listed jobs include creating TikTok content, so brands specifically look for employees familiar with the social media app. For instance, Alo Yoga will utilize TikTok resumes to hire a social media manager who will develop a TikTok strategy and engage with other influencers.

Chipotle also announced that it would consult TikTok Resumes to find new talent. After facing severe labor shortages, Chipotle hopes to attract more Gen-Z employees to its restaurant. The chain said the new video format allows applicants to show off a different side of their personality that might not shine in a traditional sit-down interview.

“Given the current hiring climate and our strong growth trajectory, it’s essential to find new platforms to directly engage in meaningful career conversations with Gen-Z,” said Chipotle’s Chief Diversity, Inclusion, and People Officer Marissa Andrada in a press release. “TikTok has been ingrained into Chipotle’s DNA for some time, and now we’re evolving our presence to help bring in top talent to our restaurants.”

To apply, applicants must create a video highlighting their experience and skills. Once a user makes a video, they should post the video with the hashtag #TikTokResumes. Candidates are encouraged to use TikTok’s tools and effects like greenscreens, text, and music. Users should record their video vertically and refrain from including any personal details, such as their email address or phone number. The post will create a video link sending applicants to tiktokresumes.com, where they can officially submit their video to a company. If an employer is interested in an applicant, they can reach out to them in a private message.

The resume pilot will run from July 7 to 31. While the platform is temporary, the shift shows how TikTok is focused on engaging Gen-Z to create a base of professional content creators utilizing the app.

“We’re humbled to be able to partner with some of the world’s most admired and emerging brands as we pilot a new way for job seekers to showcase their experiences and skillsets in creative and authentic ways,” said Nick Tran, the Global Head of Marketing for TikTok, in a blog post.
